In Honolulu, master leatherworker Sam Hook of Tidal Theory has crafted a way to let lei live on for generations. Sewn by hand from premium leather, these leather lei are an instant heirloom and can be passed between family and loved ones, growing richer in meaning and significance over time.

Each lei begins at 36′ and is crafted with full-grain vegetable-tanned leather in the shape of a puakenikeni flower.

Molded and strung on naturally dyed silk, interwoven with solid wood beads and hand-picked shells.
